Thank you, Brandon and the Black Autistic Polymath

The stories on this podcast—particularly those involving a narcissistic mother—have validated my experiences with narcissistic abuse to such a degree that a mere mention does not seem worthy. I have a great deal of gratitude for your work, Brandon. I am nearly 50 years old, with 25 years of talk therapy under my belt, and nothing has contributed to my enlightenment quite like your podcast. Such is the insidiousness of narcissistic abuse, right? ;) I found the story shared by the Black Autistic Polymath to be a particular stand-out. Their perspective on how they have processed their experiences resonates deeply with me; making me cry in spite of my hardness and numbness. Even though my cultural touch points are different, I feel like the BAP and I are riding the same wave length. This connection means the world to me. A special shout out to the BAP for describing the profound fatigue that comes with being not neurotypical, as well as the depth of commitment made when a person with autism says they are going to do something. Thank you, Brandon, for including people with neurodivergence in your conversation. Thank you to the Black Autistic Polymath for sharing your story.
