Bonnie & The Exploitative Narcissist | Domestic Violence & Narcissistic Abuse

In this episode of Narcissist Apocalypse, Bonnie shares the story of an exploitative narcissist who entered her life as a protector and gained control over everything she needed to survive. He listened to her, made her feel safe, and this was exactly what Bonnie had spent her life searching for. But then, the abuser got her hooked on drugs, and pulled her into a life consumed by addiction and crisis.

As Bonnie became more dependent, everything carried a hidden cost. A financial, emotional, or physical debt that needed to be repaid. Access to her son, employment, housing, transportation, and her own body became sources of control. And whenever Bonnie challenged him, he threatened the things she needed most.

It's a story of exploitation, coercive control, addiction as leverage, trauma bonding, weaponized help, survival mode, narcissistic abuse, financial abuse, identity theft, sexual coercion, physical intimidation, emotional abuse, child custody coercion, control through children, post-separation abuse, digital surveillance, bodily autonomy violations, threatened intimate-image abuse, employment sabotage, housing control, isolation, gaslighting, smear campaigns, retaliation, fear, confusion, entrapment, shame, self-doubt, self-blame, grief, and despair.
