Ehi & The Bullying Narcissistic Family | Narcissistic Abuse
In this episode of Narcissist Apocalypse, Brandon talks with Ehi about growing up inside a bullying narcissistic family where power flowed downward and the people hurting him were protected by their age and authority. He was mocked for asking questions, called stupid and weak, bullied by his siblings, and blamed whenever he tried to defend himself. Ehi learned that safety meant disappearing into corners, hiding in the bathroom, monitoring everyone’s moods, and hoping no one noticed him.
It's a story of survival patterns, one-sided friendships, emotionally abusive relationships, faith, therapy, boundaries, neglect, going no contact, reclaiming your identity, scapegoats, gaslighting, minimization, belittling, putdowns, childhood sexual abuse, physical abuse, bullying, people pleasing, self doubt, hierarchies, and hypervigilance.
CONTENT WARNING - This episode briefly discusses child sexual abuse & physical abuse.
