Tally & The Danger Next Door

In this episode of Narcissist Apocalypse, Tally shares how the seemingly perfect man next door became controlling, intimidating, and physically dangerous.
What began with jealousy, phone checking, and triangulation slowly grew into emotional neglect, family enabling, repeated promises of change, and escalating violence during pregnancy and after childbirth. Each apology gave Tally another reason to believe the future they had planned was still possible.
Tally discusses the pressure to manage his emotions, the way her needs were treated like demands, and the moment she finally stopped trusting his potential and started protecting herself and her child.
It's a story of control, intimidation, jealousy, triangulation, emotional neglect, family enabling, future faking, dreams, physical abuse, strangulation, emotional caretaking, coercive control, promises to change, cycles of abuse, walking on eggshells, phone monitoring, needs reframed as demands, belittling, putdowns, custody, and the religious image.
*** CONTENT WARNING - This episode graphically discusses adult physical abuse (IPV), and strangulation. ***
